3. Exercise. Have you felt a difference in your energy after you exercise? Working out in the morning can position yourself in a very compelling way to take more action throughout the day.

3 Ways To Serve People With A Smile On Your Face
Our #homeschool theme for the month of August is 'Serve and Be Inspired' and we are super passionate about this topic! Let's dive into the top 3 ways to serve people (or your student) all while having a big smile on your face.
1.Forget yourself and go to work
The best thing you can do while serving is simple; forget yourself and go to work! Here is what we mean by this. When you approach a service opportunity, it is absolutely essential to perform the act understanding that it is bigger than yourself. When pride, ego, personal needs and everything else that comes along with our natural state wants to surface, it's important to suppress those feelings and realize that you are a part of something even larger than yourself.
2.Seek out opportunities that your student is passionate about
This is genius. What better way to serve and be inspired then to seek out a need that your student needs addressed. Let's say for example, your student has troubles retaining information from their favorite book. Consider creatively acting out the most important scene. It may not be Disney quality, but we bet it would put a smile on their face and they wouldn't forget it!
3.Write down your goals...Before and after
Now you may ask yourself, "Why is writing down your goals important?" When you write or publish your goal, you'll be more compelled to accomplish those items. How wonderful would it be to look down at your goal sheet and say to yourself, "Wow, I actually accomplished all of what I had planned." In a world of extreme schedules and projects, make time to serve others, it will inspire you and put a smile on your face.

Tips Serving Your Homeschooler -(The Quick Version)
Serve. Love. Homeschool Supercenter.
Definition of service: "The action of helping or doing work for someone" - Noun
We'll take this definition to the next level and draw comparisons as to how it relates to homeschooling. Are you ready?!
Serving at your true apex is true impact. The more and more we choose to serve our audience or student, expecting absolutely nothing in return, is where our true return on investment transpires. You see, taking the approach of serving somebody understanding that his or her needs can be greater than your own, is fundamental.
Here are some actionable ways that you can serve your student.
1)Choosing the correct curriculum
This is the foundation of setting your student up for success and serving them to the fullest. As mentioned in our other blogs, every child learns differently and thoughtfully choosing a program that develops their strengths and works on their weaknesses is something we would encourage you to consider.
2)Get your family on board
Tell all the family you feel comfortable with about your goals and ambitions of being a homeschooler. Chances are, they will support your vision and hold you accountable for some of your actions, which will help the chances of you succeeding.

You May Be an Aspiring Homeschooler if...
So, you may be sitting behind your computer screen, investing countless hours and snacks researching if the world of homeschooling is the best fit for your child and lifestyle. Let's get real. Homeschooling indeed, is not for everybody. However, if you see yourself answering 'yes' to any of these indicators below, you may be a good fit!
1) You like control
This is a very popular attribute that trends in our community. If you like to not only understand your students' need, but like to control the pace and curriculum being taught, you may be an aspiring homeschooler.
2) You're a life-long student
What a great opportunity to increase your knowledge by teaching others? If you're passionate about learning and don't want to stop, homeschooling could be a good fit.
3) You like to socialize
Now, this is probably one of the biggest myths associated with homeschooled children. 'They lack social skills.' Have you heard that one before? While there may be a minority percentage of children that may be extra shy or seem to lack interpersonal skills, that is applicable to a regular publicly schooled child as well. We believe that parents can socialize with other groups and collaborate to create success.

"How To Create a Fun Environment While Homeschooling"
Top 3 Tips
-Prepare for activities the evening before (and invite your child to participate.)
Preparing a successful homeschool lesson that is both fun and engaging can be extremely challenging, would you agree? Being exceptionally prepared is a great asset to acquire as a parent that homeschools on a regular basis. Involving your child the evening before will demonstrate your high level commitment and will inspire your child to take on more responsibilities.
Include a fun recess break with friends, preferably outdoors.
There is nothing like a nice walk outside to enjoy fresh air! Believe us, you deserve it. Taking a quick break outside will help reduce stress and creativity. When was the last time you took a nice walk with a group of friends?
Consider bringing out a tablet/computer for select activities to introduce video. Then follow up the activity with a pop quiz on paper.
Yes, yes. You may be a little skeptical bringing out the electronics, but we believe that it is important to create a balance between utilizing traditional textbooks - due to the higher percentage of retention and performance, and learning from apps and other supplements. This will provide a well-rounded learning environment.
"How To Inspire Creativity"
"Creativity is putting your imagination to work, and it's produced the most extraordinary results in human culture." - Ken Robison
It all starts with your "why". What does that mean? As a homeschooling parent, it's essential to focus on the reasons why you chose this lifestyle. Is it to foster a thriving environment that you can control? Is it to inspire your child through your ideas and actions? Is it to provide them the education you didn't have the opportunity to experience? Get super focused on your 'why' and the creativity will be sure to follow.
Here at Homeschool Supercenter, we provide you a platform for success. From packages ranging from secular to bible based curriculum's, we are 100% confident we have something to inspire your child's creativity and success as a homeschooled student!
"How To Balance a Good Diet While Homeschooling"
We all are aware of the importance a balanced diet has on our education, right? From early in the morning rising with the birds, to later in the evening after 5pm traffic to everything in between. It is essential to consume enough nutrients that will feed our bodies and minds well enough to retain our daily homeschool education. Let's dive into three tips on how you can better balance your diet at home!
-Pinterest.com
That's right! You may have already invested hours in this social platform looking at different home decor ideas or different DIY projects for arts and crafts. Pinterest is a wonderful website to gain more knowledge and inspiration when it comes to fitness and health. Check it out!
-Containers
Your kids are going to love this one. Prepare your meals in controlled portions and place them in transparent plastic containers. This will eliminate some of the daily questions you hear like 'Mom, what are we having for lunch?' or "I'm hungry and I don't know what to fix!" Go with containers and don't look back.
-Plan. Plan. Plan.
Invest in a simple white dry erase calendar that can be placed in your kitchen. You will have an entire snapshot of your month and will simplify and reduce the stress levels as to what is needed from the grocery store. After all, if you don't plan to succeed you plan to fail.
